My first trip

As promised, I am back with a new blog. Last week I traveled to my grandparents and to our ancestral village to celebrate my very first festival of holi.

We reached airport on time. Here are a couple of pictures from delhi airport.

I realised that if I am sleeping in my grandma’s lap then even the running jet engine can’t disturb my sleep.

After I reached Riga I met my grandpa for the first time. I also met our cow and her calf.

Next morning I went to my ancestral village which is 5kms down south of Riga.

There I met few goats.

I met many family members there, however I cherish the time spent with my cousin Utsav the most. We used to play along with our grandpa in our saw mill.

On the day of holi, while I was sleeping peacefully, a boy from neighborhood put abeer on my face. I got very angry but dad told that it is a ok gesture during holi and that it’s a festival of joy and happiness where people give up ill-will and accepts love.

Here are the pictures of me with my family.

In the above pictures you have all the ladies and in the below picture you can see all the gents.

Here is a memorable one where me and my cousin Utsav are with our grandparents.

We then returned via darbhanga where a shuttle ferried us to the plane.

We finally reached back delhi.

That’s all about my very first trip and I hope to write again soon. Till then keep spreading love.
