This post is long overdue and it will be little long than my usual posts. Anywhichways, hello and a very happy new year to you. 🙂
Let me begin with the most important event of 2022. I got to share the stage with my mom on her convocation for the award of PhD degree at IIT Delhi. I enjoyed the moment with my mom.
We had travelled to India in october-november primarily for my mom’s convocation and few other things which included a ceremony(called mundan) where the hair of the new born girl is shaved for the first and only time which it is believed will help in better growth and health of future hair.
A few days after the mundan I got a chance to travel to my Nani Ma’s village where a lady coloured parts of my feet with red color. This again is a tradition of the locals of my native place.
After that I travelled to my native village for the festival of Chhath. In above picture you can see my Dadi Ma with my cousin Utsav.
We stayed nearly a month in India and I met many relatives including my mama, masi and my cousins. I fondly remember time spent with my Shubhi Masi.
We then came back to Germany which was preparing for its own holiday seasons. We celebrated Christmas.
On new year’s eve we went to visit amsterdam.
There I took my doll on a boat ride on the canals of amsterdam.
