From february 16th till 20th the city of Aachen celebrated carneval , an annual festival celebrated in many cities in europe and other parts of the globe.
For carnival people wear different than usual often funnier dresses and I became a fairy as that was my kita’s theme.
In the beginning I was very happy to wear a special dress but when I reached kita I was surprised to see that everyone wore somekind of magic themed dress. In the photo above you see my surprised look.
Above picture is from mom’s workplace and everyone looks funny.
We then went to the city centre where there were some kind of parade going on.
People and children on these beautiful carriages were throwing chocolates for the spectators.
